I’ve had a couple original copies of this 1960 Sinatra LP, but they were both played a ton and sounded terrible, so I jumped on this MFSL reissue when I saw it at a good price. It sounds quite good, although on headphones I’m not crazy about some of the stereo panning. I have found this to be common with stereo records from this era. I’m not sure if it’s the same panning/mix as the original Capitol release–it’s possible that the MFSL version is better or worse in that regard. As is often the case, I guess I’ll be looking for a clean original mono pressing. In the meantime, I’m very happy with this copy.
