Brother Jack McDuff — Hot Barbecue

Jack McDuff had a great quartet in place for his groovy 1965 LP Hot Barbeque–McDuff (org), Red Holloway (ts), George Benson (gtr), and Joe Dukes (dr).  As you’d expect it’s a funky, great feeling record all the way through with the added bonus of hearing a 22-year old Benson tearing it up.  Great music–great cover–sounds great–dig it….
